Pros: comfortable, side impact protection
Cons: hard install, straps twist
The Bottom Line: Buy it, it's well constructed--it's a Britax; it is the best big-kid 5-point harness option, it has side impact protection. Just don't plan to move it around--ever.
Review: I read all of the reviews on this seat and was prepared for a tough install, but not that prepared! I couldn't get enough belt for the long belt path and the short belt path gave me about 6 inches of slippage. So I went to the car seat safety ...

Pros: Sturdy, plenty of room to grow, easy adjustment for shoulder harness
Cons: It's huge and heavy
The Bottom Line: Another good, sturdy Britax product.
Review: We just put this in the car yesterday. It's the upgrade for our daughter who has been enjoying a Britax Marathon since she was 6 months old. (Time to pass that down to her baby brother.) Her stats: 2 yrs, 3 months. 33 pounds. 36 ish inches tall. ...

Pros: Well-built, worth the $$, Plenty of protection from all angles, Easy to install.
Cons: Dark covering heats up in the sun. Cumbersome if it was toted around an airport.
The Bottom Line: Love it and I recommend it highly. Definitely worth the $$
Review: I got into a minor accident with the Decathalons and since the insurance covers new carseats, I chose the Frontiers for my 3 year old twins. I wouldn't use the Frontiers with babies that need the cosy padding, but its perfect for my average-sized 3 ...

Pros: 5-point harness up to 80 lbs. Feels safe. Comfortable. Attractive and durable.
Cons: It's huge and difficult to install. Small cupholders. Escaping buckles.
The Bottom Line: I highly recommend this seat for older children. It's useful over such a long period of a child's life.
Review: The Frontier is a combination harness-to-booster seat offering harness restraint up to 80 lbs and booster up to 100 lbs. It has armrests, cupholders, and plenty of padding. It can be installed with LATCH connectors or by one of two belt ...

Pros: Side impact head support, easy to use latches, fold-up cup holder, center buckle pinch guard
Cons: It is HEAVY.It is expensive.
Review: The Britax Frontier is a fantastic carseat. Love that it has side impact head support! Anchor latches are easy to fasten and unfasten. Top anchor is easy to adjust if you need to change cars. Have used other that require a schematic diagram to ...

Pros: Solid
Comfortable padding
Cons: HEAVY to move.
Install instructions a little confusing.
The Bottom Line: Initial installation took much longer than expected, but once installed the seat is secure, solid and comfortable - exactly why I bought a Britax.
Review: We needed an extra seat for our 3 year old to ride in my husbands car. I searched quite a bit, not wanting to spend money on another Britax Decathlon (though I'm not sure they make that model anymore), but he's just at the lower end of the weight limit ...

Pros: --Looks Good
--5-Point Restraint in a Booster Seat Cons: --Thin straps that twist
--Requires constant re-jiggering each time seat is used --Constant safety recalls The Bottom Line:
Wait to buy until: (1) Britax works out the safety bugs (2 years) and (2) puts thicker straps on the seat so that they do not twist constantly. Review: I just purchased 2 Frontier Boosters (replacing 3 Britax Marathons). They look good. However, the booster seat restraints have thin straps--meaning that they become tangled in the buckles each time they are used. This requires CONSTANT ...
