The Bottom Line: I recommend this machine highly--it makes great espresso and looks great at the same time, a combo you don't often find.

Review: I have had two of these machines since July 2006. The first one would not work properly when it was first plugged in. It would not produce steam. Macys replaced it and the second one lasted 7 months before it quit producing steam. I will try one...

Review: Had this unit for more than 2 years and use it twice a day. Apart from the continually returning plastic smell and taste from reservoir it can make reasonable coffee on most occasions. The other times it gets confused and starts to pump steam first...

Breville Die Cast Espresso Machine OK but not great

The Bottom Line: The flaws have given it a certain character. If you aren't too put off by my criticisms then give it a try.

Review: Ok, I paid $100 bucks for my delonghi two years ago last month, before it died. Even in its brand new state, I hated the thing; but as a busy father of two kids and a cat, time just flew by and that thing just ended up on the counter.
