THE BMW OF BLENDERS
Date of Review: Jan 6, 2008
The Bottom Line: Go buy it. If you have extra cash, buy the one with the LCD screen.
I initially purchased this due to a commercial I saw. I also really liked how the blender looked. When I actually saw one in person, I was amazed on the feel of the product. It was heavy duty! The blades were very different than any of the other blenders. It does a folding motion which is really cool. So far, I have only used one setting, which is the "Smoothie" function. It does a very cool thing... it mixes everything with such ease. it also "tosses" everything up to ensure that it has mixed everything. No wonder the lid is kind of tough to put on. The lid definitely will not come off during use, though it is very easy to take off. Cleaning this machine is a breeze. The blades come off from the bottom, allowing everything to be cleaned. One of the things I really noticed about this blender is how QUIET it is. I assumed that being a heavy duty blender that this 610 watt motor would be super loud, but it isn't. It's really quiet compared to all other blenders out there, and I've used about 4 different types. I'll update once I use it for other things, but so far, I'm very impressed. It was worth the money.
