Great booster car seat for a "big" boy or girl
The Century Breverra Classic car booster seat is just right for the toddler set. We purchased this booster seat as our son quickly outgrew both his "infant car seat carrier" and his "infant & toddler" seat. The weight recommendation for the Century Breverra Classic is 30-60#. The design of the Century Breverra Classic compares to that of an adult bucket seat in a mini version. When our son rides in his seat he sits up proud and tall because he is able to see everything around him. Our son feels like a big boy in his Century Breverra Classic.
A seat that grows with your child
We particularly liked that this seat would grow with our child. Having already purchased two car seats prior to this one for our quickly growing child, the idea of a seat that would last until our son was ready for an adult seat belt was a welcome one.
The Century Breverra Classic is equipped with the same built in harness safety belt you would find on a traditional infant car seat. The harness safety belt has two height adjustments and is removable once your child has outgrown it. The seat then becomes a true "booster" seat. There are two sturdy clips at the top of the Century Breverra Classic that allow an adult seat belt to be looped through making the seat a booster seat.
This seat is called classic with good reason
The features on the Century Breverra Classic are easy to like. The seat comes in several different patterns including a suede like material in hunter green and tan which includes two mesh side pockets for toys. This is our personal favorite. We loved the classy style of this pattern. The material is always easy to clean, and is of course removable should it become necessary to machine wash. We have not yet found the need to remove the seat cover as any and all stains have been removable with a simple upholstery cleaner and brush.
Perhaps our favorite feature on the Century Breverra Classic is the soft rounded edges on the bottom and back of the seat. So many of the car seats we have had experience with have been built with sharp edges on both the bottom and back of the seat. This sharp edge tends to cut the upholstery in our vehicle. We absolutely love the smooth rounded edges on the Century Breverra Classic. In fact this particular feature was paramount in our decision to purchase this seat
The only negative we can find with this seat
Ok so we have covered everything we love about the Century Breverra Classic. In all honesty there is only one thing we didn't like about this car booster seat. The one feature we hated about this seat was the ease of installation. The back of this seat has a completely flat area through which the vehicle seat belt much be installed. Looping the vehicle safety belt through a thin flat area at the back of a car seat while still managing to get the car seat installed as tightly as it needs to go is easier said than done. I have spent close to an hour getting this seat installed properly and therefore the idea of moving this seat anywhere is not appealing. However once this seat is properly installed it couldn't be a better safety seat for my child. So despite the difficulty in installing this seat I strongly recommend it.
Regardless of which car seat you decide is best for you please always use a properly installed car seat with a locking clip for your child. Locking clips are provided with the car seat and installation instructions will be in the car seat manual and your car manual. Drive safely
