The Bottom Line: Break The Cycle is definitely worth a few spins. However, aside from a few lyrical excerpts that truly are gems, you won't find anything particularly incredible or innovative here.

Easily best CD since korn's Issues

The Bottom Line: staind returns with their third CD, and in my opinion, the best one yet. If you thought Tormented or Dysfunction were incredable, wait till you hear Break the Cycle!
Review: if you are active in the rock scene, you definately know about Staind by now. Gaining huge success from Mudshovel, Home, and Outside, they are back with an amazing new CD with 12 songs that will guarentee you coming back every day to hear it again...

The Bottom Line: If you re expecting a really hard rocking CD you may be in for a disappointment. If you re looking for some more hard hitting lyrics you ll be enthralled with this CD.

Staind inside and out....

The Bottom Line: This album is a passionate piece of work and with Aaron Lewis on vocals, you can't go wrong.
Review: I stumbled upon this CD shortly after its release. Thanks to the infamous duet on "Outside" between lead singer Aaron Lewis and Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst, I became intrigued by the painful quality of the Staind sound.

Staind Bring Emotion And Songwriting Back To Rock.

The Bottom Line: With Break The Cycle, Staind offers proof that good hard rock music is alive and well.
Review: I first heard of Staind back in 2000 just as their debut album Dysfunction was taking off. The song "Mudshovel" was receiving quite a bit of airplay on radio and MTV and the album was a huge success. I liked the single, yet the rest of the album...

The Bottom Line: A heavy album which shows that metal is indeed recovering from the blow struck by limp bizkit. worth getting, especially if you don't prefer industrial.
Review: A message to all the Stabbing Westward and Nirvana fans who miss the self-loathing from the old days: Staind is the way to go. There is one twist however. While the others just wallow in their misery, Staind provide a glimpse of hope for redemption...
