A superb account of a soldier behind enemy lines

Firstly I have to say I enjoyed this book immensely. It was without a doubt one of the most enthralling and exciting books I've ever had the privilege of reading. This book provides a wonderful insight to the role of special forces during the Gulf War. It also serves as a powerful reminder of the many hazards of soldiering and the limits man can be pushed to.

Andy McNab had previously authored Immediate Action which was equally, if not more, beguiling. Modern media doesn't devote anywhere near as much attention to soldiers as they do to other facets of society, such as celebrities, when soldiers have the most exciting and interesting stories to tell. Bravo Two Zero is just one of those gripping stories that you're unable to put down until the last page is read.

If you have a pulse then I enthusiastically recommend this book to you. It's a transfixing combination of excitement and suspense that will leave you feeling as if you were there next to McNab in the sands of Iraq. Definitely one of the best books every written.
