Give this a few chances!

I purchased this epilator during the summer of 2007. I am Italian and have dark hair. The hair on my legs was starting to show through, even when I shaved. Basically, after shaving, my legs would be smooth but you could see hundreds of black hairs under the skin. I figured pulling the hair out at the root was the solution.

My first experience with this epilator was painful and the results were awful. I moved the epilator very quickly and lightly over my skin, resulting in hundreds of broken hairs that became ingrown on my legs. Yuck. I tried again a few weeks later, after painfully plucking out most of the ingrown hairs. I had a few glasses of wine and moved the epilator SLOWLY up my leg. The results were better... not great, but better. I spent the rest of the summer slowly epilating each week. The results were great because I could shower and would NOT feel tiny hairs poking through my legs the minute I stepped out. Now it is January 2008. I have been epilating all winter. My legs are smooth and there are no ingrown hairs. My hair grows back thinner and finer. The epilator no longer hurts as much.
