Broken after one year

Pros: good looks, holds wide slices

Cons: highest setting is still too low for most toast,
slider bar broke

I can't believe this gets 5 stars from others as it's the worst toaster I've owned. I came to Epinions in fact because I have to replace it.

I was never happy with it as it's highest setting is still not enough to brown most slices of bread (and I like toast only LIGHTLY browned).

Also, the slider rack/bar which holds the toast is flimsily attached and broke (we are not rough with it) after only a year.

Avoid, in my epinion.
