Great and inexpensive shaver

I have been using Braun shavers for over 10 years so when mine had reached the end of its life, I decided to go with another Braun. I started off at the Braun website to see all the different technologies that are available.

My requirements were as follows: cordless, 60min battery life, $75 price range, easy to clean. This eliminated the 8000 Activator and 7000 Synchro series. The 6000 free glider system had an automatic "shaving conditioner" feature that did not interest me. This left me with the 5000 Flex II series.

As background I have very light hair growth and it takes me less than 30 seconds to shave each morning.

It takes a few days for your face and your beard to adjust to the new shaver. Since then, I've gotten quick and close shaves. I am extremely happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it.

My favorite feature is the fact that you can rinse the head under water. With my previous shaver this was a no-no. Now it's easy to keep the shaver clean. In addition, since it's so easy to rinse after each use, it keeps the sink area much clearer now as well.
