Work well but look at other options

I have been really happy with my Selecttech Dumbells thus far. I haven't had the weights fall out on me yet like some.

To be honest though, there are much better options out there for less and thats why I'm giving these a 3.

Anyone reading this should consider IronMaster's adjustable dumbell set. I am going to list the pro's of the IronMasters as a way of showing the cons of the Selecttech's:
- They are made out of steal (no plastic).
- The locking mechanism is very basic which makes it RELIABLE.
- They have a lifetime warranty (I haven't double check this, but regardless they should last a lifetime).
- They have a weight addon for when you grow out of it and need more wieght.
- You can adjust in 2.5lb increments rather than 5lb.
- They are MUCH cheaper.

The only advantage over the Ironmasters is that you can adjust the waits alittle more quickly.

Expensive locking system is overly-complicated, poor durability, no addons available, only adjusts in 5lb increments
