A lot of action...not as good as the first two
Pros:
Good chase and fight scenes.
Cons:
Too many details left out.
The Bottom Line:
Pretty good action movie. Not as good as the original. Kind of "been there, done that" same old thing.

Author's Review
Just saw THE BOURNE ULTIMATUM.
I did like the action scenes. The car chases and crashes were pretty intense. The fight scenes were pretty good.
HOWEVER:
I liked the original BOURNE IDENTITY because it was almost believable to some extent. The BOURNE ULTIMATUM not so much.
For instance, when Jason Bourne is running through Pakistan (?), being chased by the police, he somehow gets away.
In the first two movies, he is mostly in Europe or the USA, where he can more or less "hide" in the public. How did he manage to get away in Pakistan? He would stick out like a sore thumb. He is too obvious. He made no attempt to disguise himself, nor was any other explanation given. He's a professional killer, not a NINJA.
In the first movie, the girl who helps Jason dyes her hair and cuts it in order to change her looks. In this sequel, Nikki, the lady associated with the whole training program, cuts her hair and dyes it, but she really looked just about the same to me. It didn't look like much of a "disguise" at all. More like Superman putting on glasses to play his Clark Kent role. With the whole government agency coming after me, I think I'd do a lot more than cut a few inches off-the-top.
Also, this same girl was absolutely scared to death of Jason in the first flick. She knew all to well what he could do. In this movie, she was way too calm. I mean, less face it. She is in the presence of the most efficient killing machine, and on top of it, she is attempting to help him, thereby putting her life in jeapardy most certain.
Near the end, when Jason enters the main office in New York to steal the pertinent paperwork regarding the secret training program, no explanation is given as to how he could get in there. He just does. Poetic Justice. We must simply assume he can and that's that. To me, it is disappointing and much less realistic.
And when Jason meets the doctor in charge of "creating" him, so to speak, the explanation of how they were trained wasn't all that believable.
Like most sequels, I didn't like it as much. There were some good parts. Some slick moves on Jason's part. But, I didn't feel like it could really happen. It felt more over-the-top. The story just isn't as good the third time around.
