Great System

The Bottom Line: Audiophiles should stay away from Bose altogether, but the non-audiophiles will be more than pleased, especially if price isn't a factor. The Bose Lifestyle 38 System sounds remarkable.
Review: I have had this system for about 7 months now, so hopefully I have experienced all I can and offer you my full personal opinion about the Bose Lifestyle 38.

As a result, I am quite satisfied with the system overall. Too bad it isn't close...

The Bottom Line: For the money, it is the best system available (other than a custom design). I have been tremendously pleased and the Technical Assistance provided by Bose is outstanding.

The Bottom Line: Excellent well worth the money. Be sure if you want to get into higher quality sound formats. There arnt many SACDs/DVD-Audio. But some SACDs are out of this world.
Review: The system is very good in terms of sound. Standard CDs churn out very impressive surround sound, with its own 'Bose Sound Stage' decoding. Goes without saying for DVDs.

Excellent for the "Average Joe" DVD watcher

The Bottom Line: I recommend this system and would buy it again. Sell people might tell you that Bose has no middle sound speakers (only bass, low and high) but you won't notice.
