Bose Quiet Comfort 3 Headphones Live Up to Their Name

by   jordango ,  Jan 21, 2007
Pros: Incredibly quiet, excellent sound, very comfortable
Cons: Very pricey; don’t need these unless you’re on an airplane a lot
The Bottom Line: The Bose Quiet Comfort 3 Headphones live up to their name - they are great headphones. At $349, however, if you don't fly a lot, you don't need them.
Review: The first time you put on a pair of Bose Quiet Comfort 3 headphones you will be happy with the sound, which is excellent. You will likely be in a Bose store. At some point, you’ll wonder how they sound on an airplane. “Where is the simulated ...

AN INNOVATION IN SOUND QUALITY

by   starwarrior ,  Sep 20, 2007
Pros: Small size, low weight, Comfortable, Pure clean sound.
Cons: The price tag and the rechargeable the battery pack is exclusive.
The Bottom Line: A little on the pricey side but the Bose experience in innovative sound quality makes this a worthy investment.
Review: Ambient sound is all around us whether it be sitting in our living rooms, at work, or in a public facility. The human brain has the incredible capability to filter out most unwanted noise and will process only the differential. Whether it be ultra low ...

A must for the frequent air traveller

by   keithquan ,  Jun 4, 2007
Pros: Excellent noise cancelling technology. Cheaper models made by other manufacturers don't work nearly as well.
Cons: Expensive.
The Bottom Line: If you are a frequent traveller, save your pennies and get these as soon as you can.
Review: I had been thinking about a pair of these since I first tried the original Bose Quiet Comfort headphones. When Bose released the second-generation QC2s, I was determined to get them but did not get around to it. The cost had always hindered me and the ...

Bose QuietComfort 3 - And the best just got better

by   mbrenne72 ,  Jul 24, 2006
Pros: Compact, comfortable, rechargeable battery, amazing noise reduction
Cons: VERY Expensive, cannot use unless the headphone power is on
The Bottom Line: I give this product an EXCELLENT but recognize that the price is a bit hefty. Great headphones.
Review: The new QuietComfort 3 is billed as the "smaller" alternative to the QC2 for those that do not want full ear headphone coverage. When I first went to the Bose store, I figured I would try the QC3 and then buy the QC2 because I do like the over-the-ear ...

A slice of heaven

by   sbaadkar ,  Dec 24, 2006
Pros: Lightweight. Nicely designed.
Cons: It's pricey. Don't expect the price to come down soon.
Review: I constantly travel for various projects around the country. Recently I got minimal sleep due to various projects. To make matters worse, I had this screaming kid behind me. I put on my QC3 and plugged in my iPod. It was great. I didn't hear the ...

WHERE'S THE HIGHS???, muddy lows, COME ON BOSE!!!!

by   gavincumm ,  Aug 24, 2006
Pros: comfortable, light,
Cons: muddy bass, no highs, price. overall sound
The Bottom Line: the quietcomfort 2 is less expensive, and a superior product. I now own the QC2
Review: I just returned my Quietcomfort 3 headset back to Bose. I primarily use a Stax SR-001 MKII in ear electrostatic headset (and as of late a QuietComfort 2) for at home / college use. I noticed some reviews for the QC3, and was intrigued by the on ear ...
