Pros: First class noise reduction circuitry, great design, good tight bass response, great battery life
Cons: Very expensive. Bass sounds could be a little less muddy sounding and more defined.
The Bottom Line: If you want serious noise reduction, or you need headphones for listening in a plane, get these. Top notch!

Review: Got a pair of these headphones for free (through AMEX reward points), and have been using them for almost 3 months.
As much as they are very expensive, $350, I would say that initially, I would give them a 2nd thought in terms of spending... |

Pros: Comfort, and decent sound.
Cons: Price, and can't use without noise canceling turned on.

Review: If you want total noise isolation, there are better choices on the market but they're buds that go in the ear canal. The problem is for a lot of people like me, you can only stand them for so long before they get uncomfortable. The Bose is a good...

Pros: Comfortable, Good low frequency noise reduction
Cons: You want to swallow to pop your ears, Won't block talking-crying-screaming, Battery drain, Price
The Bottom Line: Not worth it unless you only care about airplane noise. Makes you want to swallow or yawn due to eustachian tube dysfunction, music reproduction poor, won't block chatter/crying/screaming at all.

Review: Don't get me wrong: Bose makes high quality material. But they overprice them and I think marketing sells more of these than they should.
This is indeed an improvement over their original: less hiss, and foldable for storage. The case is... |

Pros: GREAT for use on airplanes.
Cons: You might need to buy a second battery but other than that nothing.
The Bottom Line: If you fly frequently buy these headsets, they eliminate the noise.

Review: I am on an airplane every week, sometimes twice a week and have used Bose noise cancelling headsets for the past five plus years. I've had several models but the QC3 is the best.
Design: they fold up and come in a case that fits easily... |

Pros: Excellent sound and comfort. Foldaway design with carrying case.
Cons: Needs to be powered on for music. Some white noise level between songs.
The Bottom Line: While at $300 dollars this is a major expense for a headphone, the listening experience is worth it I can recommend these headphones for the sound quality and durability.

Pros: Sound great, feel great, cancel great, are just great.
Cons: If the noise canceling battery dies, the headphones die, but battery lasts 30 hours.
The Bottom Line: The best set of noise canceling headphones you can purchase. They started working on the technology in 1976 and it?s clear that they?ve put tons of sweat into it.

Pros: Lightweight, with average-good sound quality. Good ambient rumble reduction, but ...
Cons: Mediocre/poor noise cancellation for mid- and high-frequencies; way too pricey for what you don't get.
The Bottom Line: You will likely be disappointed by this product. For the high price demanded by Bose, and the hype of the ads, I expected near-perfection; what I got wasn't even close.

Review: I thought I'd buy a nice present for my frequent-flier friend. But, the QC-2s turned out to be a huge disappointment; I've never seen such lousy price-performance out of any Bose product. I returned them for refund immediately and I would never...
