Easy to Use and Good Looking; Bose just Sounds Awful.

The Bottom Line: Interested in ease of use and looks, and don't care about money? the Bose is for you. If you want good sound quality, Buy Other Sound Equipment.
Review: Bose is one of the most recognized names in audio. Bose's advertising is outstanding, but how about their audio systems? I took a trip to my local Bose dealer to put their Flagship, the Bose Lifestyle 48 to the test. It retailed for only $3,999.00...

Love the sound, but known DVD problems plague Bose Lifestyle systems

The Bottom Line: $4k is too much to spend on a system with this bug. If you must have a Bose system, buy a speaker system but use another DVD player.
Review: I've had 2 Bose lifestyle systems over the last several years and have always found it unbeatable to get great sound from such a small package. However, my first Lifestyle system 25 did not have a DVD player, so I wasn't aware of the issues...

Review: The system has been problem free.

When an issue has cropped up about using the functions on the system. I have found that very helpful and polite people are at the other end of the phone. The customer service is excellent.

Bose life style for the rich.

The Bottom Line: Dont buy it. It costs to much and you can find other good looking systems for less money.
Review: I was in the USA 2 years a go during my travels and I had a chance to look, see and hear the "life style system.
When I came into the the bose store I was invited to a show room to see the "amazing life style system" :) as the sales man called...
