Sorry, Bose...Polk's Got You Beat...By A Mile!

The Bottom Line: The AM systems by Bose are wonderful sounding but at this price point, others surely have the Bose AM-16 beat.
Review: In many ways Amar Bose can be considered to be the father of small speaker technology. I wonder if anyone really gave "imaging" a thought before Bose introduced its flagship model 901 speaker system in 1968. Nobody had ever heard small speakers...

Review: When you get the package delivered to your door, you know you are in for something special, when it requires two people to safely move your speaker system indoors. Why two people when the speakers are so tiny? Well, the bass module is surprising...

The Bottom Line: If you can afford it go for it!
Review: I have had this system for 4 days and have played it almost the entire time. They sound so great. I have had other systems in the past such as Kenwood, Hardon Kardon and a couple of others. My A/V receiver is the Marantz SR7500. I had Polk speakers...

Review: Totally blown away by the crisp clear and loud sound coming from these little tiny speakers. Never heard any other system come close. Bose does it again. I have these paired together with the Bose vcs-10 center speaker. They all sound amazing...

You get what you pay for.

The Bottom Line: Great system, if you are a audio purest, nothing less will do.
Review: Bose has been the leader in sound technology since the late 60's. They are most noted for being able to produce mind numbing sound in a very small package. The Acoustimass system is no different. The real question is, "is it worth the high price?"...

Another technology left by time

Review: Bose kept on making these kind of speakers systems. Well lets be more specific, I have bought these BOSE AM speakers and they sound good enough, if you compare these speakers to others, they wont give you sound fatigue, but there is always one...

Review: I have an Onkyo with THX and 6.1 ch., and some Kef Speakers, but when I bought this Acoustimass 16 from BOSE, they simply sounded SO MUCH BETTER!! I tried them with Star Wars Episode II, and The Eagles concert, and sounded SO GREAT that i can't stop...
