One of a kind...

The Bottom Line: I would especially recommend this music system to music lovers who really want to hear a live performance.
I've been seeing the infomercial on TV several times and was convinced that it should be listed as one of my "must-have" considering my passion toward classical music. But after checking Bose's website, I was a bit shocked by the price...I still talked myself into buying it, I thought "if it's as good as it says on TV then it's worth the price," so I took the interest-free installment plan offered by the company.
When I first got the machine out of the box and put a CD on, I was impressed because unlike other amplifiers I've had before, it rather sounds like an instrument. However my siblings couldn't tell the difference (they hear pop & rock n' roll) and thought that I was out of mind to pay a thousand dollars for a small box. I thought I knew better.
Now I have it around my grand piano and amazingly, it makes the piano sound even more distinctive and clarified. Amazingly, even when there's a CD of piano music on, it sounds no less than my grand piano. Ironically, my siblings are often confused of whether it's coming out from the recording or it's me playing the piano.
