Bose Acoustic Wave II (17817391207) Shelf System

We've had our Bose Acoustic Wave since March 1999 and have it hooked up to our television set. The sound quality is much better through the bose. Our living room is 700 square feet, so sound often is distorted with other systems. Not with our Bose. We also listen to a wide variety of music--classical, rock, Floyd, chanting, punk--and it all sounds great.

The remote does not have a feature to switch from CD to television, and that could be an improvement. The entire unit it lightweight and portable. In fact, my husband insisted on taking it with us on a trip recently. To judge the system properly you need to check it out in your own home. The acoustics at audio places are designed to make the system sound as good as possible. Try it at home (as long as there is a returns policy).
