321 Bose System

The Bottom Line: I trust this company and the products it makes. Don't take my word for it, however. You should call them and find out for yourself.
I recently purchased this Bose system for my wife and I - with some hesitation. I have seen a Bose Wave Radio in the office of my Doctor and I loved the sound. However after reading the reviews on the Internet and speaking with the sales representative in my local store I had some hesitation.
The reviews I had heard all complained about the poor performance of the product. People said that they could not hear the surround sound effect clearly and often the system would freeze-up. I was concerned about spending $1000 on such a product, however our home is small and our budget as well. Both my wife and I had wanted to own a home theater system so we decided to call Bose.
I spoke with a representative there - Jason. He was honest and told me about some of the problems the product had. He assured me however that Bose was committed to its products and would support every customer who purchased one. He informed me that the software issues that customers experienced were fixed, and as future problems were reported they would be fixed as well. In addition Bose would provide these updates to customers. I was still not convinced I wanted to purchase a system that would require updates, however I decided to ask around about other home theater systems. Did they have problems as well? Would those companies continue to fix a product after it was released and send me an update? I placed calls, but no one would give me the same commitment.
So we took a chance! We brought the system home and set it up. I had a little trouble with the remote control and called. They answered my questions and gave me assistance in connecting the 321 with the cable box as well. But when we turned on the system, we were very pleased. The sound appeared to be coming from around us. None of the problems we had read about seemed to be an issue with our system.
We're both very happy and I am at peace with our decision. Bose built my trust. My wife and I have worked hard to earn our money and when we spend a $1000 it should be with a company that will be there when we need them. That does not happen much today, but I remember it used to back when I was younger.
