Excellent product for smaller rooms!

After moving in to a house with a smaller living room, my wife and I decided that our component surround sound system was a bit overbearing and were looking for an alternative. The Bose 3-2-1 system seemed too good to be true; surround sound in a three speaker package. (Note: Bose does not claim that this system is equal to that of true 5.1 surround.) Having owned this system for one year now, here are my thoughts.

First, the sound is incredibly good, particularly when playing music. Although it is not a true surround sound system, it does an amazing job at fooling the average listener. My guests are always shocked to find out that the system only consists of two speakers and a subwoofer.

Second, this system is best suited for a small room. The volume needs to be turned up almost all the way to the max in our small living room, so I would speculate that it would be inadequate for a larger room. (Bedrooms would be ideal.)

Finally, this is the perfect system for those who are "electronically challenged." The system is amazingly fast to assemble and is completely dummy-proof. There are no complex wiring requirements and the remote is very simple to use.

In summary, this is an excellent system for small room applications and non-audiophiles who want to enhance their music and movie experience without any hassels or complications.
