Ok......I have owned this system for about 3 months and is still AMAZED with how the sound quality is within this 3-2-1 unit. I personally cannot get enough of listening to the Bose 3-2-1 system. But on with the review, first of all, make sure you follow the instruction manual from step to step. Setting up the system is simple, so following the manual will not be troublesome. Once the system is setup the way it should be, make sure you adjust the treble and bass to your preferred taste. I prefer to increase both the treble and bass, with the bass a bit higher than the treble. Afterwards, you find the sound of Bose extremely pleasant and intriguing. You will hear sounds that you didn't know that existed from other sound systems. The Bose 3-2-1 provides clear sound on all volumes. The max volume that I have gone so far is 70, which is VERY LOUD. My standard volume would be between 30-40. In DVDs, the picture along with the sound is excellent. All of the DVDs that I have watched were flawless (and I have watched quite a bunch, maybe about 15 or more). There was this one movie(forgot which one), that froze, but I cleared it up by fast forwarding a little......plus this was one of the DVDs I rented, so the DVD could have been dirty or scratched. The sound on these movies are superb, but don't expect "TRUE" surround sound. In other words, sounds won't come from behind you since there is obviously only two speakers playing in front of you. Generally, you will be pleased with the sound, besides.......you have to remember that you are receiving sound from just TWO small-size speakers along with the module. Unfortunately, no system is perfect and I encountered a problem. The receiver was bugged. The volume would not decrease any lower than 20 and then the songs from the CD skips. However, everything was resolved after unplugging the system. This was the ONLY time that I had to unplug the system.
