Best Dishwasher for Silence and Sanitizing

I replaced my Roper dishwasher with a Bosch SRV53C after much research and am absolutely thrilled with it. I've got one ugly kitchen, but my appliances are top of the line. I disregard the BS rule that all your kitchen appliances must be of the same manufacturer. Ladies, do you buy all your cosmetics from the same line? Likely not. Appliances are large ticket items, so go with the best in class, regardless of maker (although try to stick with the same color of course!).

I'd been looking for a quiet model for about a year. I looked at every manufacturer. I asked friends. I asked developers. I asked real estate investors. Everyone gave me all sorts of recommendations. We travel outside the US, and one appliance name we always see is Bosch. I was fortunate enough to test a Bosch dishwasher in a mountain chalet for a week, and as soon as I got home, I placed the order for the SRV53C in white.

What a delight to be able to converse in my kitchen while the dishwasher is running! It's so quiet at 46 dcb (vs the 58 dcb on the standard Bosch model) we have to depend on the LCD light that hits the floor to know it's running. My dishes are so darn clean and sanitized. Best kitchen upgrade to date is my Bosch dishwasher, bar none.
