Pros: Easy to read, comprehend and quite thought provoking
Cons: some may have differences in doctrinal teachings
The Bottom Line:

Pros: Well written with nice plot twists.
Cons: None for me.
The Bottom Line: Very intuitive book worth reading.
Review: The Shack by Wm. Paul Young is an extraordinary work of Christian fiction. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. However, it is full of depressing moments and makes one think. Young writes the story about Mack in a narrative form. ...

Pros: Inspirational, Thought Provoking, Page Turning
Cons: None
The Bottom Line: This is a must read. I haven't seen a book like this in a long time, maybe ever.
Review: I don't think simple words can do this book justice, but I'll try my best to explain why it is so important, and what can be learned from it. As a usual non-fiction reader exclusively, it takes a lot in a fiction book to capture my attention. Usually ...

Pros: Inspirational and Encouraging
Cons: None
The Bottom Line: May the Lord lead your hearts into God's Love and Christ's patience. ~ 2 Thessalonians 3:5
Review: Since I'm already a Christian, it wasn't too difficult for me to relate to the story of Mack, who has just experienced the most tragic circumstance imaginable and is in the process of healing - dealing with that circumstance, AND, is being consoled by ...

Pros: Emotionally stimulating
Excellent writing style Explains the Holy Trinity very well Cons: Depending on how sensitive you are, this book will potentially make you cry...a lot.
The Bottom Line: This book is so well written and so full of passion. This book will show how you can be brought back up even from the darkest of times.
Review: What would you do if you received a note in the mail telling you to go back to the place your youngest daughter was killed? That is the question put upon Makenzie Philips. His youngest daughter, Missy, was kidnapped and killed while he and ...

Pros: A wonderful, thought provoking book
Cons: Could have been so much longer.
The Bottom Line: A book you will want to keep in your collection for a long time to come.
Review: I thought this was one of the best modern day Christian fiction books I have read in a really, really long time. It causes inward reflection about self, our relationship with others--both those people we know and those we don't know, and of course, it ...

Pros: "The Shack" is deeply moving and may deepen your faith.
Cons: I appreciated the book's Trinitarian point of view, but not everyone may.
The Bottom Line: I would recommend "The Shack" to every Christian and everyone who is searching for answers.
Review: My pastor gave every family in church a copy of "The Shack," with instructions to read the book and pass it on. I finished the book in two days! I'm glad I took a moment to read the paperback book's cover, as it helped me better understand what was ...

|
Pros: Best Seller's List in May 2008
Oprah's Book Club January 2008 Great tale of inspiration Cons: Young is a somewhat "choppy" writer in the book. Written for family not public.
The Bottom Line: A must read, timless due to the nature of the book and rooted in faith and inspiration. If you are looking for a pick me up this is your book!
Review: The Shack by W.P. Yong is a journey for the soul only if you remind yourself several times this only fiction. Young does a poor job of getting the reader interested in the beginning of the story plot. Willie, our story ...
