A Classic in my Library
Date of Review: Jan 9, 2001
I really don't know anyone that doesn't like Winnie the Pooh or one of his friends. They're all so lovable and cuddly that they're just completely irresistible! Well here is the original book all about the World of Winnie the Pooh and the House at Pooh Corner.
Every chapter is a new adventure as told to Christopher Robin. The adventures are simple ones that any child would understand or at least enjoy hearing read to them. The very first chapter is our introduction to Pooh Bear and some bees. Others are about a birthday, heffalumps and a donkey losing his tail. The chapters aren't very long. My husband and my son usually just read a chapter a night and that's good enough for both of them.
There's not a whole lot to say about the book. Like I said, every chapter is a new adventure so it might take forever to describe every one of them to you. I would recommend it to anyone that likes Pooh and his friends. It can really take you back to the simpleness and innocence of childhood.
