Pros: timeless theme, good writing, challenges the reader
Cons: plot can be a bit over the top
The Bottom Line: A sometimes unbelievable plot line is made up for with excellent writing and a timeless story with a moral message.

The Austins: The Young Unicorns

Pros: L'Engle's writing style, characters we know and love from other books.
Cons: POV shared between too many characters, plot (not character) driven, not really believable.
The Bottom Line: Fans of the Austins will want to read this book for a full understanding of their history. Oherwise, it's not as good as many of her others.
