The plan works if you work the plan!

The Bottom Line: I would recommend this book for anyone to read, especially if one is interested in getting out of debt and learning to handle money responsibly.
Review: I bought this book after listening to the Dave Ramsey Show on the radio for a few months. It was an easy read and laid out a lot of the same principles that Dave talks about on the show.

Lipstick, Mascara & A Financial Makeover Please

The Bottom Line: I know a few people who could use this. It's a plan you can follow, but you need to *seriously* follow it. No questions asked or backsliding.
Review: It seems in the past few years everyone and everything has been in for a makeover. They're all over Home & Garden TV, TLC and all the other minor cable channels. So it's only natural that our finances should be due for a makeover as well.
