The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants is an awesome book... I recommend it.

This book was extremely amazing. Almost every teenage girl goes through some sort of experience that they can closely relate to what each of the girls in this book went through. When i first started reading the book, i didn't want to put it down. It reminded me of what my best friend Anne and I went through. It is kind of cool to read something that describes you and your best friends obstacles in life. I only read this book because i was bored one day and i had nothing else to do. But, i don't regret reading it. I recommend this book to everybody. Now, i can't wait for the next time that i have free time, because i can't wait to read the sequel, The Second Summer of the Sisterhood.

The sisterhood of the Traveling is an interesting book about four teenage girls. Their parents were in an aerobics group for pregnant woman, and became friends. But, unfortunately, after the births of their children they split apart. The children became friends and even decided to sneak out at night, on certain occasions, to go visit the place where their mothers started it all. They always found something fun to do. One day, at Carmen's house, they found a pair of Carmen's pants that her mother got from the thrift store. And if you're a girl, you know that you always have to try your friends clothes on. Unexpectedly the pants fit each girl's shape and size, no matter how skinny or tall. During that summer the girls got split up for the first time. Lena goes to Greece, Carmen goes to see her father, Bridget goes to soccer camp and Tibby is stuck home. Before leaving for each place, they had to figure out what was going on with the pants, because each girl liked them. Instead of flipping a coin to see which girl would have the pants for the summer, they sent the pants back and forth between each other. While having the pants, each girl goes through some sort of life changing event. When the pants are sent from one girl to another, a letter goes along with them to tell the next girl all the fun that they have had in them.
