Author's Review
I have read the review "How do I get out of the Rat Race?" A great review of the book in that is summarizes the main points extremely well, but I must add, the author of "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" tells you exactly how to get from "A" to "B". And the answer is... Investment Real Estate.
Does he tell you exactly how to buy that first property? Well no. That's up to you. May I suggest a course from Carleton Sheets -- "No money Down". It will tell you step by step how to do it. And, YES, the course does work. But there are plenty of other how-to books and courses on the subject as well.
Investment real estate has worked extremely well for me over the last 4 years.
His second bit of "A" to "B" advise is to start a business. There are plenty of "how to" books on that, too. But, for me, I know that wouldn't work. It's just not my bag. I have found other ways to make money that suit me better. However, I personally know several people who have hit it big by having there own business. So I know it does work.
That's why the author leaves the solution up to the reader... each person must use what he/she feels will work. The key is to make money somehow, and then invest it wisely (in "true assets", i.e. things that produce CASH FLOW). So your money works, and you don't have to.
