Great help to write a resume
Date of Review: Dec 9, 2007
The Bottom Line: If you want to write a first class resume, read it.
My husband got this book to put together his resume. I got it first in my fingers, right now I am applying for a school in Germany - and I read the book more or less through. I like the sample resumes and cover letters they are an excellent source of inspiration. Susan Britton Whitcomb gives a before and after resume look, very impressive. I got a lot of good information out of it, invaluable tips and tricks how to make your resume more appealing. "This is the only resume book you will ever need to magically transform your resume into a masterpiece. The book teaches also about web resumes which are e-mailable and scannable and teaches about keywords so that your resume get noticed on the internet. The author is a professional resume writer, more than 15,000 resumes go to her credit, so she knows what she is talking about. Marty Nemko, monster.com columnist and author of Cool Careers for Dummies said about this book::If this book can't put your resume ahead of the pack, no book can." You can apply the tips in this books very individually, I feel that I gave my best by writing my resume and the rest is up to the Lord.
