Review: In Lucky You, written by author and environmentalist Carl Hiaasen, you understand the ludicrous irony of winning fourteen million dollars, only to have it stolen away from you by brutal force.

The Bottom Line: Highly entertaining crime fiction. Pull up an order of Hooters wings and enjoy.
Review: JoLayne Lucks' bad luck with men finally paid off... in spades. By playing her break-up dates from all the useless men she'd dated, she hit the Lottery big time. Half the $28 million jackpot would be hers. That's a fairly sizeable fortune, and...

Once again, Hiassen sets his novel in the splendid and sometimes (sometimes???) strange settings of South Florida.

Review: I had read several opinions on other web sites stating that this was Carl Hiaasen's worst book. Having never read one of his books, I entered with an open mind. If this is his worst, it is high praise for his other books. I loved it.
