I want to live in a museum

This was the very first book that I checked out of the Library with my new card when I was a little girl, but not my last. It was recommended by the librarian and I had the best time reading it. This was many years ago when it first came out and I thought it was the best book. I read it over and over again because I wanted to go live in a museum just like the kids in the book. I had some of the same dreams at did the kids. The thought of sleeping on a real royal bed sounded so exciting. I was rooting for the kids throughout the book.

It was a very important book for me because the sister was really in charge of the adventure. It was a positive depiction of a girl who was having fun and doing more than just dreaming about a boy. There were few books that allowed girls to dream about adventures. Most of the adventure books had boys as the main character. I loved that it was about a girl's experience.

When my son was old enough to read, I bought the book for him. I think he almost loved it as much as I did. He liked the idea of sleeping in a museum too. We have read it together a few times and I still enjoy hearing it many years after my first reading.

It is often difficult to find books that can be enjoyed by young people and are fun for parents too. This book is one of those that parents will be interested in. It is a great book to share with your child.
