The American Dream live it

Date of Review: Aug 25, 2001

The Bottom Line:  Read this classic play and be a part of history. its a great experience. Be a part of history
This story talks about the American Dream of making it big buying a big house and having more money than you can spend. But this man wants to achieve the American Dream. He hasn't suceeded in his life so now hes looking for his sons to do it for him. He is struggling to pay his bills and is constantly asking his nieghbor for money. he doesn't want to admiit to himself that he is what he is. he thinks he still has a chance to get big money. He sends his sons to get money for him and everything but doesnt want to face the end of his career. Willy Loman just will not accept it. He is constantly arguing with his older son who never settles down to find a job and when he finds a good job he is alwys stealing his way from keeping the job. Willy has a lot of stress built up. Hes tired of his sons picking up any girl they want . He had his perfect son in hischool but his actions built them apart. The American Dream is a Beutiful thing but not all can have it. And this storys message is just that. so read this classic and find out about it. This is a well written play and it has a great story line. If you didn't have to read this in school or never saw the pplay you can always read it. This is a good book and its not too expensive. You'll like it i did. Buy Death of a Salesman
