Your Questions Will Be Answred In Breaking Dawn! Will You Like The Answers?

Like most people I have mixed feelings about the last novel in the Twilight series. The jumps, changes in person (from first to third),
 and oddities leave me to ponder the answer to the conclusion Stephanie Meyer came up with.


In the beginning of the book you find out the answers to questions like Does Bella Marry Edward? Does Jacob remain friends with Bella? Can a vampire and mortal have sexual relations? As well as Does Jacob imprint?


The book starts out in first person with Bella telling the story as she always does, but switches to third person about a quarter of the way through the book with Jacob telling the story. The change of pace is refreshing and you are not left with the all about me feel as when Bella is telling the story. There are a few surprises that I had not expected as well as the return of the Volturi from the third novel Eclipse.


Bella goes from naive and pristine to sex craved maniac in this book. However Meyer does a good job of giving glimpses, but leaving most to the imagination of the reader which is good since it is for young adults. Though I still would not let my daughter read this novel any time in the near future. The violence is also kicked up in this novel just as it was at the end of the third novel though for entirely different reasons.


With a couple of the surprises this novel threw at me I was left wondering what Meyers was thinking as they were way over the top. I never got the same feel of being able to relate to the characters that I did in the first novel which I had hoped for.Though Bella did not whine quite as bad in this last book she still was irritating.
I wasn't completely disappointed with the outcome just thought it would go a different route. The novel was drawn out with filler that could have been left out and the overall plot/point would not have been disrupted. This did not fall flat, but was not what I expected either.


I am curious to see if Stephenie Meyer  does a spin-off of the saga though.
