Author's Review

What can one say about this book but "WOW"!! After reading so many duds lately it was nice to read a book that was entertaining and interesting. John J. Nance has done an incredible job with "Blackout". It will be difficult to review this book without giving away too much detail about it, but I will try.

What starts as a "bumby" ride in the South Atlantic, escalates to a terror driven "e-ticket" ride over Asia, then moves on to a spine tingling adventure in the Northwestern part of America. The group of characters assembled in this book are great...from the snotty teenage boy you want to shove in a closet (without the benefit of air holes) to the flight attendant who can put everyone in their place to the co-pilot that leads us blind to the, well you get the point.

The two main characters - Agent Kat Bronsky and reporter Robert MacCabe are the perfect crime fighting duo. While there is the underlying sexual chemistry between the two, John J. Nance was smart enough to not let that become a major factor, they are also an incredible team who balance themselves better than Abbott and Costello.

The only disappointing part of this book was the ending. I would of liked to have known what happened to the other characters. However, it did leave an opening for even more books that would feature Bronsky and MacCabe together.
