I will be very honest here, I found my pair of Bolle Sunglasses lying on the street. After inquiring around, and no claimers, I decided to make them my own. What an amazing pair of sunglasses!
Pricewise, they run from $20 (on EBAY) to upwards of $80 new. They fit my Asian face very well and are extremely sturdy. The pair I found were like new!
As a serious distance runner and now bike commuter, finding a good affordable pair of sunglasses to go running in is tough. I would hit cheap roadside sunglass dealers or a sale at Big 5 Sporting Goods, and nothing I have found compare to these.
Bolle Vigilante sunglasses are light, but tough. I don't say this lightly, since I am very hard on my athletic wear, running or biking for many miles. They sit on my face lightly yet firmly, no matter how hard I'm sweating, and are forgiving scratchwise, should they fall off my face, which is rare.
A terrific feature is the ability to remove the lenses and replace them. Very easy to do, though once they are in, the stay in for a long run or ride. The downside here is that a pair of new lenses cost almost as much as a pair of new albeit cheap sunglasses. But if you want to keep your terrific fitting Bolles, it is worth what you will pay for them.
Lenses generally sell for $20.00-$30.00, but I recently found them onsale at eyesave.com for $14.00 . There are many different shades of lenses you can buy. I'm buying replacement lenses because my young son got ahold of them and rubbed them fiercely up and down a stone wall. There are some actions no lens will survive.
Great sunglasses for every purpose!
