Loved It~

The reason why I saw this movie was because of the Hispanic influences in the film.
Blood In Blood out is one of the best "gang" movies that i have seen so far. Most of this type of movies were only about killing someone and drugs. The plot basically revolves around Miklo, a Mexican/gringo, after serving in jail for an unknown crime, comes home to his family who live in East LA. After hooking up with his cousins, gets into trouble again and goes back into prison.

You learn that Miklo did certain things to try to prove how "Mexican" he was, and caused him to hate himself. My opinion does not do this film justice. Please see it! It makes you think about how self-hatred can lead a person into a dangerous way of life.

This film touches all subjects: gangs, drug, family, love, and hate. It is thought provoking and will most likely become one of your favorite movies, as it is mine.
