Pros:
Has a generous 1.5 cups capacity; it's wonderful for chopping or mincing your favorite ingredients.
Cons:
Depress the "pulse" button continuously, and unit may overheat!
The Bottom Line:
This One-Touch Chopper is the perfect little helper for small jobs! You can finely chop herbs (fresh cilantro/parsley), bread-crumbs, nuts, chocolate squares, or chips, and finely grind hard cheeses.

Author's Review
I love to cook, but Im not too keen on food preparation. Thats when my Black & Decker HC306 Food Processor, my loyal little kitchen helper, steps in. Hes ready to go at the push of a button! All I have to do is pulse his little button and he keeps chopping away! However, if I press his button too long, he gets a little hot and just quits on me. Then, I have to wait a couple of minutes until he cools off and then hes ready to work for me, again!
This little guy didnt cost much; I found him at Walmart, at the reduced price of $10.89, just the right price! I already own one of those fancy food processors, which I only use for the truly big jobs, but for the small jobs, like chopping and mincing garlic, herbs, grinding hard cheeses, and anything else that would take you forever to chop by hand, you cant beat this little guys usefulness!
Unit Description:
The 1.5 cup bowl is made of durable plastic; the bowl, lid, and the blade are dishwasher safe for easy clean-up. Just clean the base with a moist cloth or sponge, and its looking new again. Once the unit is clean, I put it back in its box and put it away until the next use.
Safety Features:
In spite of being a budget chopper, it has safety features in place that typically only the expensive processors have. For your protection, the unit has a Lid Locking System. The chopper will not operate unless the Lid, Bowl and Base dots align; this is a blessing, but a pain sometimes, because even the tiniest misalignment, will render it useless and you have put it apart, and try again!
For my safety, the unit remains unplugged while Im assembling it, or removing the bowl from the motor base.
A minor inconvenience:
This unit has a pulse action feature, and if you depress the button continuously, the unit may overheat. This unit is meant for light use only, therefore, take it easy with it!
How does it perform?
This is the perfect little chopper, as I typically cook for two people. This unit has a stay-sharp, bi-level curved blade for precision cutting; it chops and minces, quickly and easily, saving me a lot of time in the kitchen.
For the best results, it helps to cut the ingredients into small pieces, about ½ inch (example: celery, carrots, onions), so that it chops efficiently.
Remember, to pulse and stop, to avoid overheating the unit.
Recommend this product? Yes! It works as intended and delivers good results! Its a wonderful little gadget to keep around the kitchen. Very helpful!
