Author's Review
I was actually wanting a steam vac for Christmas but my husband got me the Bissell Spot Lifter instead. When I really think about it, when in the world would I have time to steam vac my house? It's cheaper to just rent one once a year. But this little handy spot lifter is great!
This cordless cleaner is small enough to stick out of the way and still grab it in time for those surprise spills! It charges quickly (honestly, how many times are you going to use the thing twice in one day...maybe on rare occasions but not likely), is very easy to fill, and even more easier to clean up when you're through!
I'll compare it to another Bissell product I once owned. A few years back I got a Bissell Little Green Clean Machine. I had more problems with that thing than it was worth! Besides not being able to find parts when I needed them, I had the same piece break three times. After paying for the part and shipping and handling those three times I could have bought myself a new one. I had given up on the hand held things. Even when I opened this gift on Christmas morning, I thought to myself, "another piece of Bissell junk that I'll have to pretend I like." Surprise! I love it!
Some great features of the Spot Lifter are:
A spray nozzle that adjusts for big or small spots
Extra wide scrub brush for those stubborn stains
Detachable scoop for surface messes
See thru collection tank and solution tank
Squeegee tool for easy pick up on smooth surfaces
Some stains that I have cleaned up already have been wine, cat vomit, colas, and just plain old dirt spots. Besides getting the stains out, I think the best feature of this little machine is that it's so easy to clean out when you're finished using it. The detachable collection tank is so easy to remove and clean up that it seems too good to be true!
