Bissell 5770 Healthy Home Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum

I was so afraid to spend a huge amount of money on a vacuum.It took forever before I bought a vacuum. My home has some slate floors and carpet and I couldn't think of spending $500 to $1000 on a vacuum I wasn't sure would work. I was glad to invest in this one. It is the best!! It works well on both carpet and hard surface (slate and pergo). I couldn't believe how well the suction works. I kept vacuuming the entire weekend after I bought it! (Guess I was also testing the limits of it-haven't found any yet) Every crevice and corner got clean. Even all the dog hair. The attachments on this vacuum DO work! The long power cord makes it easy to get through the house. It is heavy, so I have my husband take it upstairs for me. But just pushing it around is not a problem. I'm addicted to it's cleaning power. It's easy to empty. The best way we found was to use put the drum in a small plastic bag and empty it. I'm hopeful it will continue to work as good as it does now. This vacuum is well worth the money.
