Bissell Flip-Ease Vacuum/Mop

I got this product for the great price of $47.44 at Walmart after seeing it for as much as $30 MORE at other online sites. We just finished installing laminate wood flooring in our entire downstairs, including the kitchen, and I was excited to get this product to keep up with the daily dirt that normally accumulates. Mainly I wanted it for the vacuum feature instead of having to drag out my full-size upright for quick touch-ups. The mop feature would be an added bonus since I have a dog and young child and wanted the ease of being able to wipe up footprints or spills easily.

I was impressed that I was able to test the product immediately after taking it out of the box. I was VERY impressed with the vacuum feature. It really picked up very well with little effort. However, when I tried the mop feature after mixing the solution as in the instructions, I was VERY DISAPPOINTED that my floor was a streaky mess when it dried. Yes, it was 'clean', but VERY streaked. Another downside to this is now that the pad is damp from using the mop, when I want to use the vacuum in other areas of the house, those also ended up with streaks even though I didn't actually use the mop feature for those.
