quick steamer

by   needanick99 ,  Jan 9, 2006
Pros: cheap, ease of use
Cons: no powered brushes, little screen to clean
The Bottom Line: great for the money and for small jobs.
Review: I've been using one of these for a couple months now and i have to say for the price it's about perfect for a small job. there's no heat besides from the water, and the lack of a powered brush is kind of bad. but it's a cheap unit price wise, and ...

by   squeakycleany ,  Jan 6, 2007
Pros: CLEAN and FRESH carpets, BASIC and SIMPLE, GREAT VALUE
Cons: NOISY and FILL/EMPTY lots
The Bottom Line: GOOD BUY FOR SMALL HOMES,EASY TO USE, EASY TO STORE, GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY.
Review: GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY: 55 British Pounds Sterling inc.delivery from Barmey UK, makes it the cheapest machine right now. I considered getting a model with the powered brushes and upholstery attachments but having read the reviews about those ones, how ...

Perfect for price

by   frugalinva ,  Nov 23, 2005
Pros: Price, ease of use, great for the money
Cons: Does leave carpet damp, no moving brushes.
The Bottom Line: If you want something small, light and easy to use for smaller jobs, it's great. For deep shag or huge rooms, no.
Review: I got mine for about $88 and I've used it a lot! We have three dogs and two young boys. It's very lightweight, easy to use and affordable. A few cons: It doesn't have moving heads/brushes, just two small strips of brush along the front...so you do ...

Good Cleaner

by   EricBrunke ,  Nov 14, 2004
Pros: Easy to use.
Cons: Leaves carpets fairly damp
Review: Works pretty good, easy to use. Leaves carpets fairly damp though. Doesn't seem to have quite a powerful enough vacuum on it to get all of the water up from the carpets. Also is a pain to clean if anything gets caught in the tiny front opening for ...

Worked fine for a while

by   lagibson91 ,  Feb 1, 2006
Pros: Lightweight, very maneuverable, easy to use, easy assembly.
Cons: Tap water that is too hot will melt the solution tank.
The Bottom Line: If your tap water is lukewarm, the unit will work fine, but will it really clean your carpet well?
Review: I have two dogs, one of whom is punishing me for something and continually pees on the carpet in the office, so I purchased this steam cleaner from Walmart for $68. It was easy to assemble and worked well throughout the first few tanks of water, but then ...

Bissell Quickwash shampooer 1950

by   jennyrogers ,  Aug 8, 2005
Pros: Inexpensive, lightweight, easy to push, simple instructions to put the machine together.
Cons: No checklist when it's not working properly, no information on changing from carpet to floor.
Review: My old shampooer (Hoover Aquajet) packed up on me so I decided the purchase of a new one was in order. I live in Milton Keynes so we have a number of stores to choose from, and I went to Curry's and purchased the Bissell 1950 model for £79.99. When I ...

Bissell Quickwash

by   brucie01 ,  Nov 29, 2006
Pros: It MIGHT be OK for very, very, very light soiling.
Cons: Doesn't clean, doesn't dry, fluid quite expensive.
Review: I live in France with all hard floors and two labrador dogs. I thought the Bissell Quickwash would be an easy solution for cleaning the floors, I saw it demonstrated on Television. BUT IT IS ABSOLUTELY RUBBISH! It doesn't clean well and it doesn't dry ...
