Adequate, quiet

I bought this to replace an 11 year old dishwasher. I figured that a newer one would operate better than my old one. I was mistaken. In order to get the dishwasher to almost completely dry the lower rack I was told by Maytag to run the hot water in my sink before starting the machine.
Maytag support also told me not to expect the bottom rack to be completely dry due to the energy saving requirements, the energy level has been dropped considerably so it is not adequate to complete the cycle.
With the electronic buttons there is not even the ability to have run the dry cycle only, my old one had a dial so I could set it to start anywhere I wanted or needed it to.

Be sure to ask your sales associate what models have a better ability to get your dishes, pots, and pans dry not just "mostly" dry.
