I got this from my mom last year. Being a big Bob Dylan fan, I was excited to get it. I was curious/skeptical as to how they were going to capture an incredible 30 (at the time - this was released in '85) year career. Think about it - Bob Dylan...

Pros: Great variety of Dylan's styles, 53 songs! All his best.

Cons: I don't like switching CDs all the time to hear the songs on the other ones.

Review: My sister got this box set for Christmas one year and I was extremely jealous of her. Here's why: In this box, there are three special CDs, each with at least 17 songs, with carefully selected Dylan Greats on them.

Pros: Some great lyrics, Some interesting performances, Valuable for history, Some decent music

Cons: Some lousy songs, Some disappointing omissions, Some moments of voice and music.

The Bottom Line: When Bob Dylan repackages some of his classic songs alongside newly unearthed classic tracks, he fails to find the right market that will get real value from "Biograph."
