Good Reference but outdated

I have had the book for a few years now. I bought it as an undergrad and found it to be very useful for general reference resource. It answers to all the basic information needs and has some extras - like an entire chapter on Hemoglobin. The book is quite readable and coherent- there are 37 chapters divided into 4-9 general subject areas.
However I found Voet and Voet to give a little bit extra detail that comes in handy (thermodynamics, enzyme kinetics, etc.)Overall, it is a good introductory text but is of course lacking if you want up to date information.
