Only stoners can appreciate this mess

I really wanted to like this movie for I am a big fan of Adam Sandler's characters on SNL. But, alas this movie made me scratch my head in confusion and made my IQ drop quite considerably. The jokes are insanely immature and most of them only make sense to the writers and viewers who like the smell of gasoline, the plot could have had potential if it weren't for the seen-it-before bad guy and pointless love story, and the acting is just as bad as Bob Saggat hosting AFHV.
So, Billy's dad is rich and is going to give him the company until he realizes his son is pretty much a twelve year old idiot. So Billy makes a deal to go through all twelve grades of school completing each one in two weeks and if he passes he gets the company. Eric, the predictable villain, wants nothing more than to stop Billy from getting the company. Oh my dear god! I think that's the funniest plot in the world.
Unfortunately it is anything but. For one thing, the music by Randy Edelman is so annoying that it makes the Jackson 5 sound good (ironically one of their songs is on the soundtrack.) Sure I chuckled at a few jokes but a chuckle obviously isn't what comedies are aiming for. Pretty much every character is impossible to understand. Like, Miss Lippy, she acts all sweet then when the class is gone she starts dancing to foreign music and putting glue on her face. ???? And I'm supposed to be laughing why? Sure, the general idea of someone putting glue on themselves is somewhat comical but they give no explanation for it at all. And, the principal is a horny gay retired pro wrestler who wants Billy. His past of being the wrestler haunts him for some reason yet he wears the mask and costume in one scene and runs on stage to tackle a gun toting Eric. I was so confused by these little things that I was forced to stop the tape and watch a decent sitcom that had meaning and reason so I wouldn't go all the way out of my mind.
And smeared all over this film are moronic fart and sex jokes that can only entertain those without the angel on their shoulder. I highly DO NOT recommend this sorry attempt at humor to anyone that has even the subtlest sense of humor for this movie will change it to a very rare sense of humor.
