everything you need

Date of Review:  Jan 26, 2000
Review: I am an avid mountain biker and this is the perfect magazine to me. If I rode road this would still probably be the best magazine for me. With a new layout chock full of good advise, funny captions, and amazing pictures, this is a magazine that will...

. . .for dummies, or extreme novices

Date of Review:  Mar 20, 2000
Review: Once you get past the idea that magazines exist to sell ad space and therefore to sell products, this one isn't so bad. I mean it didn't used to be so bad until they revamped their (scanty) editorial pages with a breezy tone and downright silly...

Behind the Handlebars of America's most Popular Bicycling Publication

Date of Review:  Jun 10, 2003
The Bottom Line: A fairly good magazine, but it will appeal mostly to those who are crazy about the subject of bicycling
Review: Bike riding, touring, and competitive racing are subjects that don t generate much interest from very many people. Except for a quick trip on your two- wheeler down the street to the store or a short ride on a city bike path, most people don t...

Bicycling Magazine

Date of Review:  Sep 13, 2006
The Bottom Line: In general I really find Bicycling Magazine to be a great way to stay motivated to ride and to learn more about improving my riding.
Review: I ve been receiving Bicycling Magazine for roughly a year now. When I first picked up a copy at a news stand I thought it would just be a few training tips. I was pleasantly surprised to see it was much more. A typical issue covers some training...

Bicycling-Road?

Date of Review:  Feb 16, 2000
Review: As an avid cyclist and part time amateur road racing cyclist, this magazine often leaves something to be desires. I buy this magazine for its often insightful articles on training as well as component tests and reviews. As the magazine has moved...

Don't get the free issue, or else...

Date of Review:  Apr 8, 2000
Review: I received a free issue for this magazine that was offered over six months ago on an Internet site have I long forgotten.
I didn't like the magazine content, although I am a biker, and chose not to subscribe at that time and forgot about it.

Be A Cyclist, Not A Faction.

Date of Review:  Jul 6, 2000
The Bottom Line: This is a great magazine to introduce someone to cycling. After that it lacks depth.
Review: Bicycling is a general interest magazine. That is the first, and most important thing, you should learn from my review. If you keep that in mind, it does an admirable job. If you are a bike messenger, a pro mountain bike racer who will be starting...

You've slipped a long way baby

Date of Review:  Aug 27, 2001
The Bottom Line: It's slipped from its glory days. Ignore the customer and the customer will ignore you. They may learn this right before the bankruptcy. They may not.
Review: Update: Due to a request from an uber-reviewer here, more basic mag details are added. The monthly issue, 9 issue a year, figure that one out, comes on time. Its usually about one hundred pages but more in the summer. I can rely on about a half...

Date of Review:  Dec 28, 1999
