Good for everyday use camera. Extraordinary battery.

by   sergiete ,  Jan 6, 2004
Pros: good outside pictures, very small & easy to carry
Cons: there's noise when shot in dark places without flash
Review: I recommend it for snapshots and for 10cm*15cm(standard) framing pictures when they are taken with good light(little noise though but negligeable), not in dark places with insufficient light or at night without flash cause pictures will be recorded this ...

Want A Good Cheap Digital Camera? Try The Argus DC1500 Digital Camera!

by   kelly60 ,  Feb 17, 2004
Pros: Holds 80 pictures in internal memory on lowest setting. Can be used as a WebCam.
Cons: No removable memory, no flash
The Bottom Line: The Argus DC-1500 Digital Camera is a decent digital camera for the money. It is inexpensive, yet takes fairly decent quality pictures on the high-resolution setting.
Review: I bought my Argus DC1500 Digital Camera a couple of years ago because of the price. I only paid $25 for it so I figured I had nothing to lose if it did not take good pictures. At the time, all I wanted was to be able to take snapshots of the kids ...

Argus 1500 DC: Pictures Can Be Worth A Thousand Words, With The Right Camera

by   gypsyrose75 ,  Sep 23, 2001
Pros: Cost and Software Included
Cons: Lack of Flash and Focusing Ability
The Bottom Line: Save your money on the camera and buy the Software alone. The camera is not worth it, ArcSoft makes it acceptable.
Review: Being in a tight budget I assumed this would be a great purchase. Many people I know have paid anywhere from $200.00 to thousands of dollars for a Digital Camera. I am not into a Professional Photography field so I was not in need of one that whistles...

Look MA! I'm on Mount Rushmore!

by   bwestman ,  Jan 30, 2002
Pros: Good starter camera for an older child, very inexpensive
Cons: You get what you pay for
The Bottom Line: Good learning tool for an older child, cheap way to involve the kids in home photography. Carry along a real camera too, though.
Review: Once again, the impulse bug bit me. This time, the purchase was the Argus DC1500 digital camera (in neon purple, no less). My son, who is spoiled, has been asking for a digital camera. Of course, what he had in mind was my Olympus D-490 $400 camera....

Picture This: A very low cost digital camera!

by   geopeppardo ,  May 7, 2002
Pros: Easy to use, affordable and does just what I wanted it to do!
Cons: Eats batteries up so fast that they must be removed after use!
The Bottom Line: This is NOT a professional grade camera, but it does work as it should, and is a good buy for the money.
Review: I was in need of a digital camera to add some pictures to my e-mails and on-line auctions. I didn't want to spend a fortune for something that would only get limited use, so I picked up the Sunday paper to scan the ads for a good deal.

I found...

Well.. it is a digtal camera

by   CougarMN ,  Jun 16, 2001
Pros: Cheap.. umm.. is it a digital camera
Cons: Picture quality isn't that good, cheap design and construction, no flash makes lighting necessary
The Bottom Line: It's worth it if your just looking for a cheap camera
Review: First, this digital camera is $45, which is very cheap for a digital camera. The downside to this is the picture quality tends to be rather low, the design looks and feels cheap, and the camera won't let you take a picture without a required amount of...

Good For A Beginner

by   nannyx2 ,  Nov 21, 2001
Pros: Good for the electronically challenged, Low Cost, Great Software,
Cons: Pictures not the best.
The Bottom Line: I would recommend you try this out if you are a beginner to the digital camera age.
Review: I am a totally electronically challenged person. I choose this camera because it seemed dummy proof and
not so costly for a beginner.
I paid $49.99 for it at our local Meijer store. That was for the camera and the software only....

A low quality, yet fun camera

by   Paulblow ,  Sep 6, 2002
Pros: Cheap, easy to use, fun, makes videos
Cons: Low quality pictures, no flash
The Bottom Line: For $25 you get a dig cam that takes blurry, grainy pics, but it's good enough for web pics. If you want quality - stay away from this cam.
Review: I bought one of these Argus digital cameras in a cigarette shop, of all places. I had seen the DC1500 advertised in Office Mmax ads for $25 for a long time, and even though I knew that at that price it was probably a piece of junk, I thought it would be...

okay

by   alicia423k ,  Dec 1, 2002
Pros: affordable
Cons: very vague instructions pictures arent very high quality not much memory
The Bottom Line: dont pay anymore than 25 dollars for it.
Review: its worth the money. mine was twenty dollars. no one should buy it for any more than that. its hard to figure out how to work it since there isnt any instructions for the camera itself, only the program. once you figure it out it is very nice that you...
