Very Satisfied, Granbury Texas

Recently I found myself on the hunt for a new Radar detector. After doing some research I chose two 955's one for my wife and one for me. I do alot of driving so I took
my 955 back and swapped it out with a little more money a picked up the 965. You can read my review on it. But this one is about the 955 my wife owns.

We decided to take a road trip over to East Texas which is
very heavily radar patrolled. Ft.Worth, Arlington, East Dallas and on the other parts east to give you an idea of the area. In Ft.Worth it picked up the Police a mile away around a corner with alot of time to slow down. All through Arlington no problem each time it went off the police were there, false alarms none.

On a straight away on the interstate about two miles away
this baby picked up the police over a hill, thats good reception. So much time to slow down, even though at the time I was not speeding anyway.

I picked up this particular model though because I heard that Law Enforcement in my area was moving into POP. Boy am I glad that we got these because the POP mode has saved me and my wife now about 10 times now with ample time to get a hold of our senses and watch out.

If you want a good Radar detector I whole hearted recommend this one. However I chose to purchase where I could buy a protection plan for it. After all it is an
electronic device.
