The Bottom Line: Best detector for the price ($150)
First day First Impressions:
--
Man is this thing is HEAVY! The cheaper radar detectors I've had in the past didn't weigh anything near this. Didn't weigh it so I don't know for sure the weight, but it's quite noticeable. Least I know something's in there :)

The plastic clip that holds the windshield clip on is CHEAP. Broke within minutes, so now the radar detector slides off the windshield attachment under hard acceleration. I'll have to glue it on now, rather annoying for something that's suppose to be a quality product.

Display is difficult to view from a angle. Surprised no one else mentioned this: when mounted in the middle of the windshield the plastic case blocks the first block of the screen when looking at it from the driver's seat. Not a major problem, but quite annoying, I paid to for that screen so I want to be able to see it!
That's all for my first impressions, more to come.
----------------------------------
I've used the detector for the last few months and I must say it's incredibly good at picking up police radar, saved me from probably several tickets and I'm very happy with my purchase. I'm also impressed that the display can be flipped over: I mounted the detector upside-down on the ceiling of the vehicle fixing most of the screen visibility issues I had earlier.
I have had a few more problems though. First of all it's too quiet, with the window down and music up it's very hard to hear. Second, sometimes it'll suddenly pick up a strong radar signal and doesn't stop, even miles later. Turning the detector off and back on fixes the problem but it still worries me, especially since it was purchased new.
