Very Good Radar Detector

The Bottom Line: At under $200 if it saves you from one ticket it will pay for itself many times over in saved fines, court costs and insurance premiums.
Review: Over the years I have had radar detectors by whistler, Uniden and Cobra. The Beltronics 940 surpasses all previous detectors. I have gotten fewer false signals, greater range and earlier warnings with the 940.

The Bottom Line: Several good choices if you have more than $300 to spend, but if not, stick with Bel - and stay away from Cobra!
Review: First impression right out of the box: wow-this thing is heavy! Of course weight doesn't mean quality, but the external build quality and weight of the 940 makes my two Cobra detectors seem like toys.
